I just purchased a paperback copy of The Cases That Haunt Us by John Douglas....I know many of you have read every book concerning the JB case....what's your take on Douglas' conclusion of JB's murderer? I haven't read it yet...just curious to what the JB boarders opinions are! :seeya:

I have this book and am currently reading the case about Lizzie Borden. I think his writing is very concise. And factual. He thinks an intruder killed JB so you can see how well this book will be received by some.

I haven't read that book, but plan to. I've said before on the CTV boards that I think John Douglas is one smart man. I read his book "Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit" many years ago, even before JonBenet was murdered. I was surprised when I heard the Ramsey's hired him, because back then I was an RG'er and thought they might be digging their own grave, so to speak.

But, after listening to him talk about the Ramsey case I became less sure it was one of the Ramesy's and started to believe there was a darned good chance there may have been an intruder.

Just finished it. Fascinating reading and re: JBR - the best analysis of the case that absolutely makes sense to me.

Thanks for recommending this book Lady. Well worth the read imo.
