Do you think it is REALLY from R.R? It is really weird, to read things from R.R, making himself seem like an average every day Joe Shmo. Kind of makes me feel sorry for him. Then all I have to do is look at his ugly mug, and realization kicks in, to what a **** he really is.

I think it will take me a long time to read this thread, but I am amazed at the interest. I was a little girl living in San Fran during that time. My dad is a forensic scientist and was very interested in this case. He was never involved, but he kept us up late at night scaring the crap out of me and my mom. I didn't understand all of it then, but I now appreciate the fear we all had. It is amazing that he is still alive. Is he still married to the crazy girl that snared him?

Hi Nathalie,
I'd actually recommend googling Richard Ramirez or "Night Stalker," as IMHO the writeup here on Crime Library isn't the best. More detailed accounts of his capture can be found elsewhere, actually.
Yes, as far as I know the "crazy girl" is still married to him... someone claiming to be her has posted on this site, but nobody seems to know for sure if it is really her.
I happened to be visiting the L.A. area when he was captured, and seem to remember that his MO usually, though not always, involved situations were he used unlocked doors or open windows to gain access to his victims' homes. The best defence against him was to secure doors and windows properly, though it was a hot summer, and that made for some discomfort.
On the other hand, each of his attacks was a little different, unlike most serial killers. Again, unlike most serial killers, his attacks came close together and he was stupid enough to leave fingerprints behind. The frequency of his attacks drastically heightened vigilance of both law enforcement and citizens, and that lead to his identification and capture.
Someone became suspicious of an orange Toyota, and reported it. It was found to be stolen, and at least one good fingerprint was found in it. The police staked it out, but he didn't come back for it. However, the print matched some left at at least one crime scene, and a computer search finally matched those prints with an existing record. His picture was released, and he was caught within 24 hours, largely due to the vigilance of ordinary citizens. They might well have killed him if Law Enforcement hadn't arrived on the scene promptly.

Karin, if you "had a real problem writing him" and felt like you were "committing a terrible sin to contact such a person," why do it? Why even come to a message board about Richard? Also, just so you know, the fastest way to make sure you never get a second letter from Richard is to go on the Internet and tell "y'all" about the first one.
Last we heard of her, no?
No problemo. I hope it will leave my imagination soon!!! Was Sean Penn really in prison, or what?
I don't know if it was actually PRISON, or just the county jail, but Sean Penn really was incarcerated some years ago--probably on some drug charges, can't remember for sure. What I do remember is that he was allowed to leave his cell (wherever it was) to go on set every day. I imagine, even if he wasn't in any of the scenes shot that day. 'Cuz the film was soooo important.
Anyway, I don't think he was ever really in San Quinten, let alone w/RR. DR prisoners don't have cell mates, don't have contact w/much of anyone except visiting day. OTOH, w/Sean Penn being such an important celebrity and all, he might have gotten the guards to let him visit RR, if he was incarcerated in San Quentin.

Grind very slowly in CA! Tookie Williams a POS who in 1979 murdered 4 people in cold blood and was not executed for 24 years!!! I find it hard to wrap my mind around why RR has not been executed yet either, he terrorized an entire city for weeks, he raped as well as murdered and is a devout Satanist! No, instead he sits in San Q and has visits with his blushing bride Doreen who is a sick puppy in her own right, she actually thinks and I quote: "He is a warm and loving human being, he is kind and gentle" BARF! Kinda hard to rape and torture a woman behind bars! She holds court over the other sick puppy groupies because she married him and that galls me to my last nerve. This POS murdered 14 people and he got to get married, he has color cable TV in his cell, three hots, can go outside and bask in the warm CA air, can have visits with wifey and the most disgusting part, he still has appeals left with the courts to save his sorry ass from execution probably for another 10 years!!
I fully expect to be in my grave when they execute Scott Peterson and I am 50! CA needs to follow TX, they don't bask on the taxpayers very long in TX and this past month, they have executed I think 3 real sick puppies and in TX they are locked down 23 hours, they don't associate with other inmates, they can exercise in a dog cage an hour a day and visits are only granted near the execution date, they get 3 hots a day and they don't have cable or AC and this is how they should live, with only the basics and FL also follows TX, they can only have 13' B&W TV's and no cable or AC and the average stay on DR is 12 years not 20! RR is living better than he did on the streets! I read one day what they were served for dinner at San Q and it did not sound half bad. Baked chicken, rice, gravy, veggies, and ice cream for dessert!! They should be getting only bread and water!!! I have actually about 5 years ago wrote CA's Dept of Corrections about this scumbag and they told me that he had appeals left and here it is almost 2009 and he has been in jail 20 years already!! Disgusting! I feel if you have the only person that a million to one odds that did the crime and they are given a death sentence then you carry it out in a timely fashion like they do in other countries, 30-90 days, is reasonable, and certainly would save taxpayer's billions of dollars that they shell out to house, feed, and amuse and their lawyer bills, it is staggering to think how much CA shells out, because they have about 1,000 inmates on DR in San Q alone, now this is just a estimate, for all I know there are more and if it cost taxpayers $35,000 a year for just one inmate, and they sit on DR for 20 years plus, look how much money the taxpayers have had to shell out for one beyond redemption POS who should not even be breathing 20 years later!!! I think you guys in CA need to write the Gov there a letter and ask him to speed up the process, I know if I lived there, I would haunt him on this!!!

Hello everyone!
Just had my account activated which took a few days!! In the mean time Iīve read almost this entire thread
How come Richard has his own thread with hundreds of comments and ppl interested in him and his case, when almost no other serial killer has one? Not even the infamous Ted Bundy!?! Iīm just curious to know why he seems to get to ppl more than all of the others?
(I could ofcourse ask myself since Iīm here also but Iīm much more interested in your answers ;) )
And by the way, I have a few questions that probably no one knows the answer to but you never know for sure until you ask
Just finished reading Philip Carlos book and in the end of the book he mentioned that they made a tv-movie called Manhunt about R. Does anyone know where you can watch that movie here on the internet? Also Current Affair wrote an article about him called Death Row Romeo. That would be interesting to read but I havenīt been able to find it. Does anyone know if it even exists on the net or has anybody read it?
...and I was waiting for Carlo to mention later in the book if Richard ever got an answer when he wrote to Ted Bundy but he never did. I wonder what in the world Richard wanted to ask Bundy about?!? That seemed kind of creepy... and also awoke my curiosity! Does he write to other serial killers aswell??

Hi Jenna, welcome to the CL...I was thinking about why RR has his own thread and the interest he receives over other serial killers and thought about why he interests me. I basically stumbled onto him while investigating someone else and I was amazed at the arrogance he portraited during his arrest and court battle. I started looking into him more and found myself intrigued by his story. He was good looking and acted like such a bad boy in court. This is what makes him stand out more than others and has allowed him to keep quite a following of groupies.........Go figure?
They say that RR was always interested in serial killers so I am sure he wanted to chat with Ted before they fried him....
Don't think you can watch that movie unless you download.....don't get caught.

Would I just have loved to be a fly on the wall when Richard and Ted wrote to each other (if they actually did)! Reading their letters would have been highly amusing, imaging the discussion between the two of them!?! It's a good movie and I like Richard Jordan, the actor who portrayed Salerno. Richard, Salerno and Carillo actually watched the moivie together and they found it laughable. Guess nothing can compare to reality. Happy viewing. ;)
To my knowledge, Ted Bundy was an idol of Richard's, but I believe his biggest hero was Jack the Ripper. I don't recall anything about the two corresponding and even if that would have been allowed.

You seem to have read Carlos book aswell ;) I remember that part too, when he wrote about them watching the video together. Itīs quite an interesting trio to be sitting down watching a movie! But I also remember them saying that it was weird because they found him to be a rather likeable guy!
Carlo also wrote in his book about Richard wanting to write to Ted and that Doreen, doing everything for him ofcourse, got the address for him. But thatīs all he mentioned. I donīt know if he ever did write or what he wanted to ask Ted about or if he got an answer. I was waiting for that to come up but it didnīt.

LOl! Sorry Jenna I really do like to discuss Richard but I haven't posted in a while because I prefer to get in depth and leave the chatter to the more sociable posters here!
I have always found the women who befriend then date or marry these serial killers particularly interesting. I just can't quite rap my head around it; the last time it was brought up though it degenerated pretty quick with people just wanting to personally insult Doreen because she reads here from time to time. I have kind of given up hope of having someone like Doreen to be able to explain it to me in terms I can relate too simply because I see too much denial in what she says but I guess the attraction of someone who can never control you or hurt you but is infinitely interesting because they are so diabolical must really appeal to some(too bad if they ever get out though:tongue:Protection witness program here I come lol!). I have always had trouble believing that Richard was remorseful and I even find Doreens comments towards people whose families suffered at Richards twisted hands shows a distinct lack of remorse. I think Richard made such an impact becasue before everyone knew what a loser druggie tryhard he was he absolutely terrified people. I still hear people making comments about what it was like to live around that area before he was caught and all the precautions that people would take.
I'd write more but I really have to get so shut eye my eyes are turning square. BTW I always read the posts on this thread but I live in Australia so I am really online when you guys are all sleeping so you have to give me time to respond.

RR is an evil scumbag who should have walked the green mile 20 years ago and yet, he is still sitting in San Q visiting with his blushing bride, and I think back to the trial where he often interrupted the testimonies with his outbursts about Satan and would draw pentagrams on his hand and flash it to the media, not one iota of remorse has he ever shown and yet his victim's families are still waiting for justice and I am outraged that CA is so slack on executing death row inmates? What is the point of having the DP if you are not going to execute them in a timely fashion? I already know I will be in my grave when they needle Scott Peterson, I figure at least he sits for 20 years and I think every taxpayer in CA ought to revolt and get Arnold to start up the process and start executing scumbags like RR. Richard Allen Davis, the rapist and murderer of Polly Klass is sitting in San Q too and has a girlfriend and he too is free to roam the grounds of the prison basking in the CA sunshine when all of these dirtbags should be 70 feet underground with no sunlight and locked down 24 hours a day, a hot a day, and a shower maybe once a week, no TV or radios, no phone, mail, and sure as hell can't marry anyone, no library books, just the four walls to stare at till they get the needle. I find it appalling that death row inmates can get married or even get to have pen pals and we have all gone round 2 over this, but it does not sound like RR is doing hard time, I am surprised he does not get trailer visits with his scum wife! He gets everything else!

As far as the death penalty is concerned. Iīve always been against it. I just donīt think itīs right and it gives me shivers down my spine when I think about it. I know many americans votes in favour for it. Here in Sweden we donīt even get to vote and Iīm glad because I find it totally inhuman. Sure, alot of people might deserve it but their families donīt! Hey Jenna nice to see you :) I haven't read Carlo's book i'll have to get around to it and about Bundy And Richard writing to each other it could of been about Bundys Foot Fetish? I'm with Jenna on this one, I take the view that we lower ourselves to the level of killers when we advocate for execution. There are times when a case affects me so much I want to change my stance but I just can't. I would like to see 'life sentence' start to mean just that though.

About Doreen...When did she say that she was going to kill herself when Richard is executed? Did she say that recently or around the time when she first met him? Hopefully she has come to her senses by now. Maybe the delusion sheīs been under is beginning to cease. Mr. good-looking high cheek bones Ramirez isnīt that mesmerizing any more! ;) And by all likelihood it was his handsome looks that made her fall for him in the first place, what else could it have been?

Same here...there are cases that are so horrendous that I begin to doubt my own belief but then I remember that this person most likely has ppl in his/her life that love them. And their loved ones doesnīt deserve any more grief. Itīs bad enough that they have to live with the fact that they have a family member/friend thatīs a serial killer/rapist etc. I always try to compare the grief the family members of the killer might feel vs the relief the victims families might feel if the perpetrator is executed. I believe the grief is greater than the relief in most cases.

He has NOTHING to offer his bride except for "you know what" and that is IT. If she had all of the cards in her deck, (she has about 1/2 in her deck) she would leave this freak, and find someone who is worth loving.

Does she really expect us to believe that she really think he is innocent? Even in Philips book she said that if you love somebody you only see that persons good side and not the bad. To me, that meant that she knew he did it but looked the other way. And since he has made statements all over the place about him being guilty what is there to question?? Itīs in writing and we can even hear his voice saying so on numerous videos here on the internet. Is she claiming they are fake?
Well...we all know she knows! But she wants to pretend she believe he is innocent so that we wonīt blame her for being with him just as much. Well, itīs not working !

He has NOTHING to offer his bride except for "you know what" and that is IT. If she had all of the cards in her deck, (she has about 1/2 in her deck) she would leave this freak, and find someone who is worth loving.
Which mug are you referring to? Iīve seen two...One is, as you say, really ugly. But the other on (the first) I actually think he looked pretty good. To be honest
If you want to see one REALLY scary ugly picture of him, check this one out:

Haha...so Bundy had a foot fetish aswell? *Lol* Imagine two real "tough" guys (irony) writing to each other about...feet!?! Now, thatīs humor to me ;)
About Doreen...When did she say that she was going to kill herself when Richard is executed? Did she say that recently or around the time when she first met him? Hopefully she has come to her senses by now. Maybe the delusion sheīs been under is beginning to cease. Mr. good-looking high cheek bones Ramirez isnīt that mesmerizing any more! ;) And by all likelihood it was his handsome looks that made her fall for him in the first place, what else could it have been?
Itīs also hard to believe that they will actually execute Richard. He will probably die from some disease/old age before that happens!
Lol he did when he was on the run he stole credit cards so he could be stockings or shoes cant remember what it was but i know he did it. She said she is going to kill herself as soon as he is executed and i think she said it around the time they married. Yeah he'll die from old age most likely.

As Iīve said a few posts up, Richard speaks spanish yes. They spoke spanish within the family. Richard has never lived in Mexico but his parents were born there and possibly even some of his siblings since heīs the youngest.
I think you can hear on his accent that itīs not a 100% american. Maybe now but not when he was caught.

This scumbag in southern CA in the 80's raped and killed several people. I am a little fuzzy as to how many, 14? and earned himself the moniker of the "Night Stalker" He terrorized LA and surrounding communities for months, police at first were hard pressed as to who he was as none of his victims lived tell about it till one night he broke into a home intent on raping a woman but she started screaming and he left. She gave a description to the police and they released a composite sketch to the media and if memory does serve me, a friend of his did think he resembled the drawing and was going to go to the police and a bunch of people saw him walking down a street and he looked so much like the guy they chased him down, somebody called the cops and before they could get there the mob went crazy on him.
you are correct with the number of counts he was charged with (though he claims far more, of course). your account of how he was actually captured is a little off though. he was also referred to as "The Valley Intruder" (most of his crimes were committed in the san fernando valley) and "The Walk-In Killer".
if you check wikipedia or even this site, there's a detailed account of what happened. as for your opinion of what rights a convicted rapist, child molester or murder has in prison...they should have NONE WHATSOEVER. in fact, i think once they are convicted and sentenced to death, the families of the victim(s) should be allowed to slowly torture them...then when THEY saw fit...open fire on them. to me, anyone who's convicted of a crime of that nature dehumanizes themselves so the question of what's humane and inhumane shouldn't even come into play...

Hi You all...
Great to be here, but one thing is bothering me. VERY MUCH!!!
This Karin is really making me sad or mad.
I love my dear friends Richard and Doreen Ramirez, and when I saw That Karin would put Richards letter up puplic, it really burned in my eyes and gave me a hole in my stomic.
I wonder why ppl. can think that way???
Richard is sitting inthere, can not give his own opinion or replies of all of you ppl. say or write.
Yes Richard has feelings too, alot!!!:rose:
Doreen can sit in her home open up her computer and see ppl. being stubid and mean to both her and her husband...That is not nice...
Richard and Doreen loves eachother very much and that is the end of this argument you ppl. have on. Trust me it is real love, and the other girls you mention Richard is writing with...HA HA..lol!!! Think for your own, who is the one playing with who??? I can tell, but you all know.... I know you know!!!
Doreen has been through a lot ****, and she does NOT deserve to be talked about in that way, she is simply to sweet- polite and a warm- nice person to be a target of **** in some ppl. mouths!!!
I wonder if you ppl. have been in REAL love and would do anything for your wife and husband.... That is the greatest gift on earth- beside having children.
Richard has done things in his past, donīt we all- I have done alot of **** too...more worse than others...
And Richard and Doreen knows!!!! Dont tell them all the time...
A last I will tell you ppl. one thing -we are other ppl., who is near/close to this lovely couple, and we are lauging of your other ppl.`s IQ...
Have a great day...I will and I am sure Doreen and Richard will too!!!!
RR gave his "opinion" by raping, robbing, torturing, sodomizing and terrorizing Old People and Children. And Justice gave RR It's "Opinion."
RR does have feelings, BAD feelings. Do you think that the victims and thier families might have some feelings too?
RR has done things in the past......"We all have?" Speak for yourself.
You are laughing at other ppls IQ?
I will have a great day...When RR gets Justice for his actions.
Sorry about your eyes and your stomic. Maybe you should consult with a doctor.

Hi again:) Well it is ok, you all have your opinion, and I have mine.
When Doreen gets sad, because of someone misunderstood her or talks bad of her, I have to react as her friend. And I will allways do that for both her and Richard.
Well, Personality disorder is a sickness, which comes either of born with it ( I am- from my mother), And it has gets a lot worse because of bad childhood and so on... Dont feel soory for me, that is NOT why I am writing it....
Richard has been through a lot of the same, and we are just as hurt inside, and have become a very dark mind...YES...Very dark lusts and way of thinking...
Have a lot diffrent way to think, than "NORMAL" ppl.
I hope you get the picture now....Meds. is helping me...
Richard did not get help before he got in jail....
All this is why Richard and I are friends...
We see eachother in eachother and can talk without any one calls us sick or all kind of stubid things...
Doreen is one of the few"NORMAL" thinking ppl. who can see the good in us, and respect our dark mind...
So do my husband, and yes I am a very loving and carring mother and wife...
I just have my dark side and lust...I forfill through Richard, movies and books..
This is enough for me, hope you will try understand.. Dont step on ppl. you really dont know...
All those victims and their family...It is not good, but they were in the way of Richard then.... Yes Richard thinks very different now, he has learn ppl. has feelings and can be nice on this planet... Just as I tought through my husband...
Be nice to Doreen, PLEACE!!!!:rose:
Let me get this straight...."All those victims and their family...It is not good, but they were in the way of Richard then...."
It is more then "not good." What if were YOUR child or Husband or Sister was who had "got in his way?"
I am glad that RR is different now. 22+ years caged up like a rabid dog will do that to one's ways of "thinking."
I glad he has learned that ppls has "feelings" Now Justice needs to be served.
I am sorry for your "illness," and you might want to seek professional help. Especially if you and RR think alike, as you stated before.

Richard is a weasel. Too bad the mob wasn't allowed to finish the job. Usually you can't find a cop when you need one. :cuss:

Wife of Richard Ramirez. I think you need to lay off her and leave her

Richard if she wants to. I Frequent stay in touch with Doreen thru Email's to
her. I think she's a great lady. and friend and she is not a Groupie and some Jerks call her she Truly loves Richard. as for the Bimbo that wants to know what a 666Angel I got that name from my Group I was in if it's any of your

welcome to come and Live with me. Yes I'm a Satanist aslo no I don't beleive in Violence but Richard will always be my Friend and have a place in my Heart

Richard should not have been allowed to Marry. He gave up his rights when he started slaughtering people and taking away THIER rights.
I wish California would just give RR his "dose" and move on down the road.
"Yes I'm a Satanist aslo no I don't beleive in Violence but Richard will always be my Friend and have a place in my Heart" FYI RR believes in violence. Doesnt that pose a kind of conflict of interests?
Wish he was free all you want. Aint gonna change anything though.

Some time back a rumor was reported that Ramirez was ill and likely to die of natural causes before he could be exectuted. Does anyone know if there was anything to this story, or was it just a story?
In 2005 RR was taken from SQ to an undisclosed hospital in SF for resperitory problems. The articles was at SFGATE.com (Not sure if that is the link, but that was where it was posted.) I think it was June 2005.
There have also been rumors from "Prison Guards" who claim he is in "ill health."
Or you can just believe his "wife" Doreen who says he is as fit as a fiddle.
Lets just say "prison life" hasnt been "agreeing" with him.
You can also find out the status on ALL of his Appeals here.....
http://appellatecases.courtinfo.ca.gov/search/dockets.cfm?dist=0&doc_id=327756
Please take note of the terms "HC Denied" and "Death Sentence affirmed." You can actually download a PDF of his entire appeals case so you dont have to take the word from me, or his "wife."
Hope that helps dispell the myths. :)

Maybe the perpatrator should have thought about the consequences before slaughtering and torturing old people and molesting children.
There is no comparison. At least RR's family will have a chance to say goodbye. It is unfortunate that RR put his family through this, it is much more unfortunate that he put all of the vitims and thier families through this. As I said....no comparison.

I feel sorry for the perp's family and friends--especially the ones who had never seen an evil side of the monster, and did NOT see this coming @ all. That being said, I do agree that the one who should have tho't about what would happen with HIS family and friends (let alone the victims and THEIR family and friends) was the PERP!!!! Of course, perps like this don't really care, have emotions, they act and say as they look around @ others to see how THEY act and talk.
The PERP should have tho't about the fact that he was breaking his mama's heart. HE should have said, oh, my mama would NOT like this @ all, she would cry, and be ashamed, and.....no, I don't think I will rob, steal, rape and murder tonight.

Realitively Early?...25 years plus? I dont think so. Anyone with half a brain can gather the information on the progress of his H.C. Appeal from the internet...I had posted the site many years ago.......and if I am not mistaken the H.C. is the last one...or correct me if I am wrong?....And who needs an execution date anyways....I understand he has some "health issues" he is dealing with? I know....it is from some rumor some prison guard started, right? Isnt that what you posted? Was he not removed from SQ to go to an undisclosed hospital in 05 for breathing problems?...no "rumor" reported fact... See SFGate... Oh and thank everyone who can see right through the smoke screen of deception provided by someone who married a convicted, self confessed satanic serial killer.....and then say that he is innocent...Thanks for thinking of the victims instead of glamorizing the sick, depraved low lifes.... I can see why no one has posted here about Richard since March 2006--quite a bit of misinformation floating around here. For the record, my husband does not have an execution date; he is still at a relatively early stage of the appellate process. Secondly, Richard and I are very much together. Rumors generally start when people have no access to the facts. Thank you to the people who have been supportive to Richard over the years.

hey Sharlock. I wish you were on our time. Drummie and I were not serious either. In fact his "I have an idea" statement is unnerving but not scarey. I do not like clowns either since I read about Gacy. Drummie is just bored which happens a lot. He will come up with something here soon so be prepared. sara

John Wayne Gacey was one sick evil dude. Whatever happened to the guy? Is he another one waiting for ole'sparky? Richard Ramirez was interesting there for awhile, but you are right, I think everything that could be said about him, has been said.....just waiting for justice to be served....It is really awful. I have a 16 year old nephew, and my niece-his 15 year old sister (their dad is Samoan-so they hang with the Polynesians at their school.) The Mexicans, or the Spanish kids have their group as well. In the next school district, at Kearns High, an argument erupted between the two groups, and a 14 year old Spanish kid got shot by a hot headed 16 year old Samoan (one kid my nephew knew). The Samoan kid freaked out, and turned himself in. The next day, that 14 year old died. Now, in a once peaceful neighborhood, in West Valley City, the Spanish (Mexican gangs, etc) are letting it be know that they will kill (in retalliation) any Polynesian high school kids that they see out after dark. So now, my poor sister, along with the rest of the neighborhood, basically has been holding lock downs to NOT let the Polynesian kids (which there are a lot of them) out of the house after 6 pm, and the kids HATE it.

I don'y know if you are familiar with Samoan or Tongan hot tempers, but most of these kids come here to America with their families, and never really learn the correct way to handle anger, or emotions. Usually it is with flying fist, etc, but rarely with guns. I have a Samoan brother in-law, so I have seen this first hand. Eme had to go into counseling to learn how to handle his anger, and count until 10 before reacting badly when he is totally pissed off. And, it works. With this 16 year old kid now facing adult manslaughter charges, it is really sad, because my nephew knew this kid, and said that he was really cool, and would have never done this if he knew how to handle his anger. He had his dad's gun, and was on his way to go to target practice with his friends, when the fight with the Polynesians and the Mexicans broke out. Just a REALLY bad case. My bro. in law (and most other Samoans) are VERY protective of their families, and it is him, and a few other Samoan fathers in the neighborhood that is doing the lock down until this whole mess settles down. The 16 year old kid was charged today with 2nd degree murder, and will be tried as an adult, so tempers are still extremely flared on the other side.

"It" was scary, but I hated it, because I have always been freaked out by clowns. The cartoony ones are ok, but the type that Gacey looked like was just down right scary. Yeah, that would be interesting to know if indeed S.K did get that as his idea for the film. No, I haven't read that book, but sounds good, havta check it out. yes I did do the mark harmon/ted bundy but you must read IT and The Stand. they will keep you entertained in the cold lonely nights I promise. And do not forget the Night Stalker if you have not always read it. breaks from homework you know. Even though I love steven spielberg the books ae better. "IT" is definitely creepy but books usually are creepier and better, than the movies they make from them. They just can't fit all that creepiness into a 90 minute movie. *lol* I totally looove SK, have ever since Carrie.
I bet Sk could do a heck of a good job on RR in a movie. Him or Speilberg are probably the only two that could capture that level of evilness.

Last week on one of the news show programs, some fellow was saying that California was going to release a lot of prisoners because they couldn't afford to keep them with the financial mess they were in. I can't remember what TYPE of prisoner. And that they tho't that when parole broke parole, they would try to do something besides send them back to prison. I remember seeing your "Mr Ahnold" during that airing, but for the life of me, I can't remember if he was fer or agin.
I sent a email to suggest to the person(s) thinking of this do something else--like execute the 600+ death row inmates. Gee, what a savings THAT would be!!! And, make room for up and coming lawbreakers.
I tho't maybe sending the parole violators to Sheriff Joe of the pink tents and baloney sandwiches would be just as good a deterrent to make them think twice about what they want to do with their lives.
Haven't heard anything more about it, so possibly the lawmakers behind the proposal decided it wasn't going to work out the way they tho't. Or, perhaps citizens of CA protested vehemently to their representatives.

I was a librarian in San Francisco in 1990 when he was on trial here. I had to deliver books to him in his Maximum Security cell. He was really creepy. He would wait til I got to his cell and then whip out his penis which was huge!! All he read was serial killer books and heavy metal magazines. I was pregnant with my son and started having nightmares after reading about his rape of the 8 yr old boy in front of his mother. I stopped going in to talk to him and had a deputy deliver his requests.

You know, I'm the new kid, having just subscribed to this link, but I was distressed at the number of you who want to kill, kill, kill these people. You are the same people who say that you don't want "taxpayer dollars" keeping these killers alive, but do you know that it costs more to execute someone than it does to house them for the remainder of their lives? This is true.
Plus, how can you all condemn an individual to murder, but to approve and applaud collective representatives of a state to murder?
Don't you think it would be more beneficial to all of us if these people were studied? Perhaps, only then will we be able to recognize these killers in the making while they are still adolescents and young enough to turn around and help? Did any of you even read "The Night Stalker"? If you did, you can see that there were many factors that shaped Mr. Ramirez (and many like him) into the people they became. Instead, you want to jump on the bandwagon and kill these people. And, please don't use the tired rhetoric about "why does he deserve sympathy?" and "how would you feel if one of your loved ones was a victim?" I hope I would be humane enough and nonjudgemental enough to still feel the way I do now. Not trying to anger anyone. Just presenting a different point of view. And, as far as his wife goes, maybe he used her, maybe he didn't, but did it ever occur to anyone that perhaps she saw something in him that was worth loving and saving? Perhaps she just wanted to help someone she saw as unfortunate. Please be open minded enough to at least condsider some of these thoughts. Thank you.

Toy, I understand that you are against the DP and that is fine, but when I think of this creep, and the evil that he committed, he kept an entire city deep in fear for months, he beat, he stabbed, he raped, he murdered innocent people and you feel for him??? One thing about this board, is we don't tolerate serial killer groupies and I am not saying you are one, but we do want him dead!! He is sitting on death row, breathing air, but he is not confined to his cell 24/7, he gets to bask in the CA sunshine and visit his blushing, whack-job wife!! What do the victim's families have? Can they visit their loved ones, can they touch them? No they get to go to a cold grave and this scumbag has been on DR since the late 80's!! Can you imagine how much the taxpayer's have shelled out keeping him alive? This puke can never be rehabilitated, what did the poster before you said he did to her?? He committed a lewd act in front of her, years in prison have not changed his evil ways and I have every reason in the world to believe that if he were to get out, he would kill again.
His sick puppy wife married him because she is a loser in her own right and I almost puked one night when I watched an interview she conducted with a reporter from WE and she was saying how gentle and loving he is, and I am like, anyone would be that way in a prison visiting room with CO"s everywhere! She married him too, to lord it over the other sick puppies that attended his trial!!! And what galls me is he probably still has appeals left as well, in CA, the wheels of justice grind slowly and if I lived there I would be bugging Gov Arnold there to change that!! And this puke gets to enjoy TV, and ice cream for desert when he should have gasped his last in the gas chamber 23 years ago!!! As for the death penalty, I agree that innocent people were probably put to death in the past, but with the technology we have nowadays like DNA, I would say that all the people on death row today are not innocent and this puke freely admitted, almost joyfully confessed to these heinous crimes, he disrupted the courtroom with his antics like drawing a pentagram on his hands, he laughed when a medical examiner was describing the horror that he inflicted on innocent people, he would yell about Satan, he would make sure the camera was on when he did this, he was having the time of his life!!!
And the families had to sit through this, so I ask you again, how can you feel anything but hatred and contempt for him? I worked in LE and pretty much have seen my fair share of losers, not like this creep however, so I do believe very highly in the DP, if you have the only person who could have done these crimes and you have evidence, I believe that there should be no appeals either, the sentence gets carried out in days not decades! The money spent to feed, house and amuse these scumbags for years could be better spent on education, more jobs and housing for the law abiders, than making sure these pukes get medical care and dental, three hots, a cot and phone, mail and TV. Many law abiding, hard working people do not have health care, they can't afford it and yet, these dirtbags, they have a bad tooth or a headache and here comes the doctors!! They don't have to worry about paying bills, they don't have to worry where their next meal coming from, they are warm or cool and they have advocates pleading to SPARE THEIR LIVES!! And the last thing the innocent people that he slaughtered was his evil face, laughing and hailing Satan!!!

AMEN. It has been said that it is better that one man die, than a whole nation. If R.R had his way, we would all be dead!!! He is ONE, we are the rest of the world. He basically bought his rights to have a date with ol'sparky the day he killed his first victim. An eye for an eye. He has to pay for his debts either in this life or the next. If you want to keep this puke alive, then fine, that is YOUR perogative. But it is also OUR perogative to use this site to vent our frustrations about it. This is NOT a site to attack those of us who feel differently, and support the death penalty. :flamemad:

Richard is alive and kicking. He can drag out his appeals and arguments of incapable lawyers for a good few years yet.
Plato? Yes he told me to read that less than 2 years ago. He has not changed.
Do you cage a lion for years and he then no longer wants to eat you given a chance?
Poor Doreen, I do feel for her but she must realise Ramirez used her for publicity and money. Think I am wrong? I can name at least 10 females that he writes to now all the time and flirts, asks them for photos of their legs etc, always asking for help finding asian women to write to - does that sound like the actions of a reformed and happily married man? Not really. He told me more, but that can come later.
What has Doreen ever done to ANY of you for you to be so cruel. Like the above post. Does it make you feel good to let Doreen know that othe women are sending HER husband letters and asking for things? Does it make you feel like a big person to hurt someone you do not even know? I for one would like to hear what Doreen has to say, so I wish people would stop with the insults. Hate her husban, but you do not have to hate HER!

Hey Karin,
I have enjoyed reading your posts. I just NOW finished readin ALL 31 pages. OUCH. I MAY go crossed eyed. HA!
I was strong with my first post, and I am sorry for that. I have a VERY dear friend, who is also married to a "famous" murderer, and I KNOW she is a great person. Not insane, not nuts or any of those things.. so, I just had to defend Doreen.
But I am very inerested in the messages here. I have gotten several letters from R over the years, which I have not and will not share, because it is private to ME. No other reason.
I have been a true crime buff for over 30 years, and I guess I have always wanted to know WHY these people kill. The simple term of "they are insane" really has not been an answer. Even though alot are.
Talk again,
Sue

Surely she already knows that by now. As should all the other women who write to and send things to not only RR, but to other murderers.

The reason I have contempt for that whack job is she married a sick b*stard who raped and murdered 14 people and had the time of his life doing it, was convicted and sent to death row where he has languished far too long on the taxpayer's dime and she married him for her 15 minutes of shame and if other women are writing to him and she is sticking by him then she is more of a sick puppy than I thought. This scumbag deserves nothing from anyone, not love or kindness or comfort or visits or canteen money, he should have been put to death already instead of sucking up tax dollars so EP, if you want to have sympathy for this loser broad that is your right but don't expect that other posters will agree with you, the majority thinks she is nuts and a real creepshow and if you are a groupie you will be banned because we do not tolerate serial killer or pedophile groupies or sympathizers on this board and that is why we are the best board there is, we live in the real world where people Doreen are considered to be losers and when we suspect that someone is one,. they are banned, you want to have feelings for these scumbags, go on In Sessions, you will be right at home there as they allow sick puppies to post about their love for RR and his blushing bride.

I have just finished reading through all 31 pages of this thread and, for the most part, have found it fascinating. I've noticed that several contributors have been "banned" which is unfortunate because they have posted provocative comments and insights.
I am a native Californian who moved to Los Angeles around the time of the Hillside Strangler (Buono/Bianci) murders. In fact, one of the bodies was discovered just a few blocks from my home. As the horror of those crimes were fading, Richard Ramirez came on the scene. (Actually, it was about 7 or 8 years later, but Buono/Bianci were still a vivid memory.) His first murder was committed in Glassell Park, a neighboring community (I really picked a great area in which to live ), but the majority of the murders were committed in the San Gabriel Valley. I remember being glad my house was painted green instead of yellow or cream.
Here it is 25 years later, and we are still waiting for this monster to be executed. As an earlier poster suggested, let's send him to Texas.

Big Sister, what is up with CA? They have the slowest hand when it comes to execution time!! Sheeit, there is a guy that is on DR for murdering three people that has been on DR since 1974! 35 freaking years? What the hell is the point to execute him now??? he is in his late 70's and in bad health, must as well just let him croak in his cell! As for RR, 25 freaking years sucking up tax dollars, having the time of his life with Bridezilla and then he has "mistresses" on the side?? And he is not confined to his cell 24/7. He can sit in the CA sun and get a tan, he has three squares a day and a cot and I am sure Doreen sends him canteen money and probably the other sick puppies do as well, does this sound like he is doing hard time on DR? If he was in TX or FL, he would be locked down 23 hours a day, a shower every other day, no visits unless by counsel, the only time they can get visits is if their execution day has been set, they get one phone call a month and they do get mail, there is no AC or cable, they can only have 13" B&W TV's and one hot a day, this is hard time not living it up like RR does and I am so pissed off over this, I am going to write a letter to the Gov there and ask him about this. Why is it DR inmates live 20-30 years after sentencing?? Richard Allen Davis that POS scumbag that kidnapped and murdered Polly Klaas is still on DR and has been there since what 1992??? He would be already sent to hell had he be in TX but he too is in San Quentin, living it up. Scott Peterson ain't do hard time there either and I expect to be in my grave by the time he walks the final mile and it is too bad they don't use the gas chamber like they used to, can't see three people more deserving to choke to death than these scumbags!!!

CA is known as a "progressive" & "liberal" state and I believe that is the problem. Our courts are also "progressive" & "liberal." Someone earlier mentioned the ruling about the DP being considered "cruel & unusual punishment." That concept (no surprise) originated in CA. That has held up the system for years. It has finally been settled, and we expected that the DB would start to be carried out. Unfortunately, not the case.
In DP cases, there is an automatic appeal which causes years long delays. I don't know if other states have this auto appeal. After the first appeal, too often there are more and more appeals - over every little thing from the food to the facilities. Currently the penal system has been ordered to come up with a plan to alleviate overcrowding and inhumane conditions. The judge who ordered this assigned one of his cronies to do a study. Believe it or not, when the study was finished, it recommended expanding prison facilities with exercise rooms, massages, better medical and dental care, etc., etc. which would cost billions of dollars. All this in a state that is facing bankruptcy!
Actually, wind149, I don't know the answer, I can only speculate. We have a full-time, well paid legislature who seem to be more interested in global warming than justice. Remember Tookie Williams and fervor that his execution caused because he was nominated for a Nobel prize? BTW, ANYONE can be nominated for a Nobel - it just takes knowing the right people. Where were the people to speak for his victims? Where was the outcry over his starting the Crips which has spread throughout the country?
Forgive my rant. CA may have beautiful weather, but has become the laughing stock of the country. :(

Sister, I could not agree with you more! Now we have states dropping the DP and nothing could be worse than that! Scumbags that rape and murder children deserve to fry in a chair not playing hoop or having visits and I think these states are not thinking about the victims only the rights of these scumbags and I am damm straight tired of it and being a rape survivor myself it really pisses me off! Had VT had the DP, maybe the ba*stard that raped me and upwards of 100 other kids would have gotten what he clearly deserves and I don't give a rat's ass how old he is now which is 79 and his earliest parole date will be 2019 and I doubt he will come up, but if he is still alive and comes up for parole you know my ass will be there in the front row and I will make sure my voice will be heard, he took my teen years from me, I had a lot of anger issues and in the beginning, just did not give a crap about anything including myself, I had lousy parents who believed I had made the whole rape up, as he was the pillar of the community, a teacher and he as he rapes me tells me that no one would ever believe me and it wasn't until he tore a roomie up of mine that he was finally busted and was convicted on 20 cases and got 40 plus years and he has been in for 36 years now, he could have been out sooner but VT did away with good time for the likes of people like him, why should they be rewarded???
I am for the DP even for child rape and TX has been trying to pass that, God Bless TX! Trouble with your state you got too many tree huggers or granola heads running the show and these morons, if it ain't happening to their child, they will scream that the DP is cruel and unusual, but if happens to theirs, they want to flip the switch!! I hate bleeding heart liberals, VT breed Civil Libertarian Lawyers like sewer rats, they make it a mission to plead for SO's to be released back into a hood full of kids, their rights and all, they represent them and try some of the dirtiest tactics to get the client off and these bas*ards KNOW their client is a dangerous predator and yet, they scream civil rights into the faces of the victims, having worked in LE, I saw this way too many times and it is going on today!! Today, a real POS is maxing out, in other words will be under no supervision of any kind, and wants to move to a real nice town and the town is up in arms, well DUH? And the town absolutely wants to refuse him entry and now have been told that they will be sued!!!!
This scumbag's career of raping boys goes back to the early 80's where of course time and time got PROBATION and then after raping three boys in 1990 he was sentenced to 18-life and now is due to get out tomorrow, I give it a week and he will harm another boy and yet, these morons are fighting for HIS RIGHTS TO LIVE WHERE HE WANTS TO!!! Is this disgusting or what???? He WILL RAPE AGAIN!!! One of my deputies lives in this town and has vowed to sit in front of the house he plans to go to 24/7 if that is what it takes and bottom feeder lawyer thinks this is will be harassment?? I feel like telling this moron, gee, why not have him live you and your boys??? And I tell ya this, that deputy is a father of six and a dedicated law man and HE WILL sit there and have others watch him like a hawk, I am hoping it gets to this POS and he moves, but then another town will get him, would it have been better to civilly commit him to a secure facility?? I have written countless letters about this and slowly states are doing so, NH just passed it and MI where I live now is debating it and look how many lives will be spared so you guys in CA need to start something to kick start the DP and sentence more of these scumbags to the DP and then carry it out in years and not decades!!
I tho't DR inmates everywhere were in their cells 23 hours a day. Guess I tho't wrong, huh?
There are inmates that will be released, that can be rehabilitated (but I'm betting the success of that is kind of like the alcoholic--he isn't going to quit til HE wants to, not when someone else is "forcing" him to.) There are inmates that will be released that cannot, by all studies done, be rehabilitated--the sex offender, the pediophile. THOSE people should not be let out. For the others, the ones that are going to return to society and become productive members of society--okay. Let them stay physically fit. Get them some education or occupational training. But making prison a better place than many working, law abiding Americans can afford? I think not!!!!! And if they get out and blow the chance they were given--they go back and ARE NOT released. Put them on work (and I mean chain gang type of work) gangs and have THEM pick up the litter along the high ways. Make them have gardens and such--not only will that keep them occupied, it would cut down on the $$ spent for their groceries.
The inmates should get basic medical and dental care. Need the appendix out? Okay. Need teeth filled or extracted, or even a crown? Okay. But no major dental work, braces, implants, etc. No kidney transplants (that again, law abiding, working Americans find hard to come by, let alone afford.) No plastic surgery, or like Dr Sharp wanted--his sex change operation. No, No, No. BASIC services. Period.
I still don't get how these people are more deserving of HUMANE care than regular citizens. And, isn't what they did to their victims, whether it was a robbery, home invasion, rape, murder, INHUMANE? The fear and terror the victims had to endure @ the hands of the criminals, where is the cry about THEIR inhumane treatment?
Maybe the criminals should think just a little harder about the "tough, inhumane" life they will have to experience in prison before they commit a crime that puts them there. Why in the world would they or anyone else think they deserve more rights, more privileges than people who do NOT commit crimes? They think it should be like an eternal f r a t house party and life? (Probably minus the beer, of course.)
I think, if there is something MAJOR about the living conditions, there could be a motion to the commissioners or something, but to stop up the court systems with crap about whether or not an inmate got smooth peanut butter when he has asked for crunchy, what kind of comb he could get--that kind of frivolous crap needs to stop. And people and the courts need to get over the intimidation by the inmates--after all, they ARE behind bars and can't "get them" in retaliation.
Well, someday I will post and let you all know how I really feel. :D

[B]No, please don't think I was "attacking" anyone for their point of view. Not everyone believes the way I do, and it would be a pretty dull place if we all thought the same way. Although I am against the death penalty, that is not the issue here. I realize that more often than not, these people (Richard Ramirez was who we were discussing) are absolutely not rehabilitatable. It's just not possible. The point I was trying to make is this. It seems that we are breeding these serial killers at an alarming rate, and although profiling has helped some, it seems like just when a few characteristics seem parallel in all of these guys, they change their M.O. Case in point, the BTK killer. He was not abused as a child, no severe emotional head or psychological trauma, no bedwetting, etc. Yet, there he is. What I was trying to say is that I feel much can be learned from studying these people rather than killing them. Perhaps then we could start to recognize these "killers in the making" before they reach that pivotal age of puberty, and head them off. Do you see where I was coming from? Thanks. /B]

Oh, Wind, I am so sorry - reading what you have been through brought tears to my eyes. You're right - these hideous monsters should not be allowed on the streets, no matter their age. Rape is an act of violence and if one is capable of committing rape at 20 or 30 or 40, they are still capable at 79. It is nice to see that VT has gotten rid of good time: at least that is a step forward.
The son of CA's ex-Assembly Speaker (Fabian Nuņez) has been arrested for the murder of a San Diego college student. If he is convicted (ha, ha), I'm sure we'll hear more about needing reform in our prison system. After all, we can't have daddy's little boy bending over to pick up the soap, can we? I shudder to write it, but I don't see CA having the DP much longer.
And Amy, I agree that the inmates should get only basic medical/dental care. There should also be a way of charging them or their families for such care. Thanks for the reminder about Dr. Sharp - totally slipped my mind. I thought I read somewhere that he did get his surgery? It really makes me want to scream. I was recently laid-off (after almost 20 years) and I can barely afford basic medical/dental care.
I don't know about rehabilitation. I read somewhere that the majority of people in prison are repeat offenders - around 90%. We do have the 3 strikes law here, but even that is being watered down.
On the news now is a story about a gunman who walked into a hospital in Long Beach, CA and now there are 2 people dead and 1 critical. It gets depressing.

Toy, I don't believe anyone was attacking your point of view. One of the things that is so nice about these boards is the respect people give to everyone's opinion. I understand your comment about wanting to study these people to see what can be learned from them, but don't forget that, for the most part, they are master manipulators. Case in point, Ted Bundy. During the Gary Ridgeway (Green River) murders, he was in contact with LE in Washington offering his "insights." Several investigators flew to Florida to meet with him, but he just tried to play with them in order to delay his execution. It's also believed he wanted to make sure he had more kills than Ridgeway - competition among murderers. :)
There is no reason why studies cannot be done before execution. After all, these people are on DR for decades. During that period of time, much could be learned, but more often than not, the defense attorneys will not allow the in-depth interviews. The FBI founded the BSU (now the ISU) on interviews with serial killers, and I understand they are continuing.
Finally, yes I know that the DP is more costly that LWOP. If however, the appeals process was pared down to something sensible, the cost would decline dramatically.

Sister! Yeah, people whine about the cost to keep an inmate in DR and yet, other countries have the DP and they execute their scumbags within days not decades and they save lots of money by doing it! Now you would have the bleeders piss and moan about an innocent person was executed and I am sure there have been many, sadly, a lot of minorities were especially during the blood thirsty racist 50's and we can't bring them back, but with the technology we have especially with the birth of DNA, very few are innocent that are sitting on DR sucking up tax dollars that could be better spent on things for law abiding people! I read where some moron who was in the process of changing sexes who had been arrested and convicted of a murdering his lover's new love interest and expected NY to allow him to continue his hormone treatments and then have the taxpayer's pay as those shots are not cheap and I was like WTF????
And had a lawyer screaming rights and I am like what gives him the right to turn into a woman? Is there an amendment that dictates that? Not any law books I ever read or RSA's or factors!! And I was like if he gets to manipulate the state of NY, think what the other losers will try to pull. NY did not give into his whims and he pissed and moaned, his lawyer went on MSNBC screaming that his client was in fact a woman and he planned on suing the state for denying his client the shots he needed to transform himself into the woman he was meant to be!! Now the state came back with, he wants the shots, he could pay for them instead of making the tax payer's pay and of course he screamed back that he was indigent and the state would not budge, he lost the lawsuit but his lawyer gained some fame if not money.
I remember an inmate in VT that would not eat the food because veggie offerings are not the mainstay of prison food and because he was vegan, he expected the prison to prepare and make him his vegan meals and they refused, come on, then every one of these idiots would demand what they wanted and he decides to get a lawyer and sue the state of VT. Here again, he was told that they would not make him vegan meals and if he wanted them, he was to buy his own food and of course this slob did not have a pot to piss in and lost that suit too. Now prison food is awful, you figure some prisons have to cook for many many people, and the cost to feed 5,000 inmates must be staggering so they do cut corners, like only one hot a day, they can live having a cereal for breakfast and boloney sandwiches, if I had my way, DR inmates would get bread and water. The food is supposed to be enough protein and nourishment, not gourmet fare.
And VT prisons serve what they call Nutra-Loaf which is made out of oats and veggies and some other ingredients and they give this to the idiots that refuse to eat the food and I thought Geez, another frivious lawsuit to hit the correctional center, inmates that use their utensils to lob feces at CO's and refuse to eat are given that and a plastic spoon and this is all the prison is required to do, they are providing substance, hell, they don't want to eat, no skin off my ass and we all know why they pull this crap. To get attention and get to chose what they want to eat, because they figure they make this big yahoo that the CO's will break down and given them sandwiches instead of the mystery meat and they get their own ways like babies!!! Now this facility is giving that loaf instead of giving into their whims and the inmates are pissed!!! Lawyers were sniffing around getting ready to take the cases and then realized no jury in the land will think these losers are being starved to death!! They don't call them cons for nothing!!
So you see why it costs a lot to house and feed and amuse these losers and some bleeders forget why they are behind bars instead of focusing on their victims, does it not frost ya to know that these morons will represent or stand behind a guy who raped, sodomized and choked to death a child, fight to the end they will!! I watched one of those bleeding heart idiots fighting to save a POS who raped and murdered a pregnant woman and also shot her three children and two died and one was left with brain damage, from being executed and this guy was obsessed with getting his client clemency, and it came down to the final hours and then Gov Bush refused to grant it, so he goes to the prison to hold his client's hand for the last time and called all his kin and I was thinking, has this moron ever represented a victim?? Has he ever held a sobbing child in his arms like I have?? Has he ever seen the pain and fear in an abused woman's face? This guy was gung ho, he tried the "retard defense" and Bush was not hearing it so the guy is executed at 1201 a.m.
And what does this moron do? After exiting the prison where people are either clapping and swilling beer, to people screaming that this POS was murdered by the state of TX, he bawls like a baby!!! I was like HUH? He spent all this time, money, and energy for a POS who clearly deserved nothing less than his demise and this moron is crying because this scumbag was sent to hell!!! WTF!! He actually felt for this mutt!! Not his victims, not a child left with brain damage and a hole in his face, to his two baby sisters shot in the face, to his mother who was brutally raped and then shot in the head and the unborn fetus also died, no he cries for a POS that was a career criminal his entire life!! Who gives a s*it that his Momma beat him? I was blown away to see the emotion come out of this guy! And as for studying these scumbags? Scientists examined John Wayne Gacy after he was executed and the only thing that came of that besides costing big bucks, is his brain was very large, but they could not link that to his twisted actions, 33 boys he raped and murdered, that is his only legacy.

One2Snoop posted a People Magazine article about Scott Peterson on DR. Several things stood out including the fact that "Scotty" spends 5 hours a day outside - in the sun - playing and exercising. Another is because he has filed an appeal he isn't likely to face execution for two decades!!! If it's going to take 20 years to put "Scotty" down, no wonder it is taking so long for RR who has 13 more kills to his name.

Unreal ain't it? I bet unless CA changes their ways, that it will be longer than 20 years and I read Snoop's scoop on him and that just infuriates me that even the CO's think he is a f*cking rock star and call him Scotty??? This puke murdered his pregnant wife and unborn child and hard time he is not doing! Hard time is lockdown 23 with an hour out in a dog cage, a hot a day, a thin mattress on a metal cot, no TV or radio, in some supermaxes, even DR inmates do not have them at all, they stare at the walls, no vists, no phone, and no mail, they deserve nothing!!! And I watched one of those lock up shows about San Quentin and a typical evening meal was baked chicken, mashed potato and veggie with ice cream for desert!!! They should be getting what Sheriff Joe Arpio of AZ serves his inmates, slop, about 18 cents a meal and it looks terrible, but since he has his inmates on a chain gang 12 hours a day, they either eat it or starve!! And what galls me is his parents actually post letters on the net for him!!! He has it made, I am surprised he has not gotten married, but the player he thinks he is, he is probably getting letters, phone calls and canteen money from several women and I betcha he tells them that he loves them and they are the only one in his life!!! He makes me sick and I was thrilled when he got a death sentence!!! But what sucks, is Laci's parents are not young, they will probably pass away before this dirtbag is executed!!!

I went to bed last night thinking about the People article: it truly disturbed me. Think about how the COs must feel having to work day in and day out with these degenerates. I'm sure they see the "nice guy" personae these creatures display to the public. I only hope, when they go off duty, the COs are able to think of them as the scum they truly are.
I absolutely love Sheriff Joe Arpio. Doesn't he also issue pink clothing to them?

I'm very happy that Richard is still alive and that he is okay.
And I'm happy for every Day he has.
and don't forget: He is still a human!!!
HE IS NOT A MONSTER!!!!!!!!!!
He means very much to me.
he is my Life.... He keeps me alive... Without him I'm nothing....
Yes I love him with all my Heart.
And yes I know what his Crimes, and I don't care...
You do know he is not well?
I'm very happy that Richard is still alive and that he is okay.

I would say I guess it's true that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. And, to me and many others, beautiful, he is not. In fact, in many people's eyes, he is indeed a monster, a being without a heart. A human being does not murder ruthlessly, strangers, people who have done nothing to him.

Jezebel. I am hoping that you are not a serial killer groupie because if you are, your time on this board will be very scant as we do not tolerate people who idolize a scumbag that raped and murdered 14 freaking people and as for asking Sara what she meant? He is a twisted baturd who should not be breathing right now and he is a sociopath and Thank God he will never be in society again and I am hoping that his appeals are coming to an end so they can needle this scumbag all the way to hell, personally, I wish they still used the gas chambers in CA, I would love to watch this twisted puke gasp his last. And girl, it sounds to me that you are delusional and are you aware that he has a (GAG) a wife?? Can't you find someone else to idolize than a sexual deviant, twisted piece of dog puke who raped and murdered a child?? Anyone who idolizes scum like this has to be as twisted as he is and you have the nerve to say you hope he has a good day? What about his victims? Their families and friends have to go to a graveyard to see their loved ones, and this POS scumbag can have visits from his scum wife so Jezebel? I think you need HELP if you think that this puke is a human being, he isn't, he murdered innocent people because he wanted to, he never showed one iota of remorse during his trial, he flashed the 666 symbol and growled at the press and laughed, had the balls to freaking laugh, when a victim's family gave an impact statement and you actually worship this scumbag???

For what it's worth, Jezebel is the name of a brand of trash bags here.
You see, in Hebrew the name is Eezebel (no J sound in Hebrew).
By coincidence, the word Zevel means trash and Ee means not.
So Eezevel is the name of a super strong trash bag.

I don't think Jezebel liked what we all had to say and too bad, I refuse to let anyone here, make some kinda hero out of that POS, raping, scumbag, dirtbag deviant! If she wants to idolize him, take it to the IS board, they will love it over there!! They like serial killer groupies, you should fit in well!! And sometimes, his blushing bride has been known to surf there, maybe she can get you Jezebel, a visitor's pass to meet her adored one??? Anyone who can worship an evil toothless scuzzball, has to be as twisted as he is, so go over to the IS board, you are not welcome here!!
Sara, I guess you hit a nerve, apparently, she does not think that he is ill? Neither do I, he knew exactly what he was doing when he raped, sodomized, and strangled and stabbed 14 innocent people and I will be God dammed if anyone here is gonna bait anyone over him, and you will be banned real fast!!!

Sara, if he is physically ill, I hope he is in agony!! No cancer or other afflictions could possibly make up for the fact that this scumbag sodomized a 6 year old boy and then slaughtered him and his grandparents!!! If he indeed has cancer, I hope it is the lingering kind, that eats away at him, piece by piece and no pain meds are offered! What galls me too, is how long this POS has been sucking up tax dollars!! he gets medical and dental, three hots a day, he can bask in the CA sunshine as he is not locked down 24/7 and can get visits from his scumbag whack job wife!! Maybe Jezebel is her? I thought about that, because she was on the old Court TV board looking for sympathizers and she got them over there, but maybe they got sick of her too? I wonder how wifey would feel if he got out of prison and attacked her? But knowing how whacked she is, she would probably defend him, but he will never get out and I am hoping after 20 plus years, that his appeals will exhaust sooner than later!!

So what makes a person like you find that it takes an evil person, locked away, sitting on DR, to give you Life, keep you Alive, make you Something? Is the fascination that he is forever unattainable so you idolize him? Why can you not be 'someone' on your own? Or, as suggested, are you his wife?

You know, there's nothing new about women going gaga over killers.
Very big in 18th century London. In John Gay's The Beggar's Opera, two women fight over the highway man Macheath.
In on of the final pictures in the Hogarth series The Harlot's Progress, the harlot has a picture of a wanted highwayman on the wall.
Fine ladies would visit these guys in Newgate Prison and bring them food and clothing. They would line the streets from Newgate to Tyburn Tree (today's Marble Arch) swooning as the carts took them away to be hanged.

Convicts on DR, espcially the real nasty types provide the most interesting form of safe sex-maybe ideal given the way fantasy fuels the killer, and women can idealise the REAL masculinity of a mad dog killer safe in the no-ledge that he is behind bars-PERFECT

Maybe in the USA, but here even murderers get conjugal visits :(, which is beyond my understanding.
I would have to look and see why, but my gut feeling is that it wasn't a demand from the left, but from the religious parties.
